Default 1989 mustang 5.0

i have a 89 5.0 and i just got aluminum heads and a trickflow stage one cam can i use the same stock push rods ?

yeah i thought so i need to get some rocker studs to and guide plates not sure on the guide plates 3/8 flat or 5/16 raised any ideas lol i am a new ford owner so this is all foreign to me

What kind of heads? Different heads use different rocker studs.

they are pro comp aluminum 2.02,s the place i got them have the other parts for them but i like to buy from late model resto

cool thanks fgor the help lone more question lol so 3/8,s guides with the 7/16ths screw in studs with 3/8ths rod for the rockers can i use any roller rockers that take a 3/8ths stud mount

I would check those heads and make sure which stud size you need, 3/8 or 7/16.
Then get the guide plates.
Borrow a rocker in the ratio you are going to use, 1.6 are stock, 1.7 were O.E. to some Cobra types.
Get an adjustable push and a set of 12" calipers and find out just what you need for a pushrod.
BTW, check the valve/piston clearance before you fire this thing up.....
