Default Help vacuum leak

So I've wondered and wondered what's been wrong with this mustang I bought. It's a 94 5.0 always wanted one bought it cheap expecting to fix it but I'm stumped. So it's had a bad idle ever since I got started replacing the usual like the maf and iac so recently I was gonna replac the intake manifold gasket and realized a hose that goes under it is missing. So there the leak and so when I look up the hose it's the one that goes to the canp but there's already one connected to it. So I'm asking if anybody has a good diagram with pics I'm pretty new at this or could someone help me figure out what these dudes before me did

Then you have something else other than a vacuum leak that is causing it.

Have you ran the KOEO/KOER tests to check for codes?
I would start there first before spending any more time or money.

Vacuum leaks can be difficult to locate on your own. Look for a performance shop, Automotive Dealership, or service station that has the ability to perform a smoke test. The smoke test will take out all the guess work by locating your leaks and that would be a great starting place.

Once all vacuum leaks are replaced, I would run the following tests, KOEO, KOER, cylinder balance test, etc. http://www.muscularmustangs.com/test1.php

At this time it would be a great idea to perform a full tune-up (oil, transmission, rear diff. fluid change, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, and any other parts/sensors that may need replacing. Make sure you replace sensors with OEM ones, the quality is 10x better.

Check out Scotty Kilmer on YouTube he shows how to do a smoke rest using a cigar and when he is done he enjoys the rest of his cigar.

It's not just a vacuum leak it's the actual hoses not connected to the right place I see other car pics and diagrams and the pcv valve hose is supposed to go under the intake manifold but then there is a hose missing so I need a description of where the hoses go
