Yes you can do it..........But for how long? I remember plenty of guys in this section that says it can be done no problem. Wonder were they are all at now?
There was an article in MM&FF about how they could see on video a naturally aspirated stock block starting to twist at around 450 hp. It can be done, but it won't last long enough to prove it too many times.

twist is not the problem...........cap walk is 99% of the reason they split up the middle
Heard guys doing it but they are drag motors that have been poured and girdled all up. Id just buy a dart block and be done with it though instead of wasting time and money doing that.
