dart shp is 1700 for the block from ford strokers and will handle easily support 800-1000, you don't need the most expensive dart block out there with the goals you have...................or buy Johns set up................

To make 500hp on a budget, I'd go with a cheap H/C/I package on the stock bottom end and a used blower kit making 10lbs.

Although... I ran 11.36 @ 122 on a stock 5.0 with a little bit of boost. This is fun too-
