Default Did i make a mistake?

I have recently bought a fox body that had some serious sturt tower rust, and the reason i did this was that i could not find another spec of rust on the car. The engine is really healthy and running well the transmission shifts fast without having any kinda of jerking. The clutch feels smooth and easy, and it was not leaking any fluids.

The problem is i feel like i made a mistake buying it with that one strut tower having some rust. Would it be fixable and how long would it take?

How much rust are you talking? Enough for the suspension to push thru or just a small area? Post a photo. Small rust equals welded patch. Bad rust equals a donor clip from another car.

Cutting wheel, sawsall, plate steel and a welder. Remove the tire and shock and cut from the outside.

It shouldn't be too bad to fix. If possible try to cut the rusted section out in one peice that way you can use it as a template on the new peice of steel. That will make life a lot easier for when trying to fit the new steel in place. I too would like to see pictures.
