Please help, I am new to this forum
Hi, I just joined this forum today
I would like to have a few questions answered please.
I just bought a 1995 Ford Mustang GT 300 from the original owner with only 65000 miles is red and convertible, I will post a few pictures later, after I have it washed, shampoo and waxed as well as washing the engine on Monday, but the first thing I am going to do is the smog just in case something happens after the engine wash.
Here are my questions:
My vin number is: 1FALP45TXSF257935
When I try to look this up is telling me that this car is a 215hp but the car has a 5.0 Cobra engine with supercharge from factory and the owner calls it a 1995 Ford Mustang gt 300 SVT cobra but the steering wheels says mustang instead of cobra, I am confused, could someone please explain as how many hp do I really have?
Thanks
You can look at the car and all the extras if you wish before you can answer my questions at craigslistlasvegas for 1995 Ford Mustang gt 300 $10,000

That car is a GT with a cobra engine, but if its blown it isn't factory. At least not that I have ever heard of in 95. They did make a cobra R but replaced the 5.0 with a 5.8l engine. But never heard of a 95 mustang with a factory blower on it.

Thanks a lot for the response.
I am learning something everyday on this ford, I am a corvette man but I also wanted to buy a fast ford and now I did.
I now have a 1978 corvette pace car anniversary edition 95% original.
I am getting excited about this mustang and getting someone tomorrowrrow to do a full detail on him.

sounds like someone pulled a fast one on you. my personal opinion is the previous owner through a cobra intake on top of the engine and slapped a bunch of badges on it and called it a cobra. now as far as how much power it is making who knows, it could be a stock motor with a blower or it could be a fully built motor with a blower and you wont know unless you pull it apart. the only way to find out how much power she is making is to get her dynoed. also imo i would take all those decals and extra badges off the car and change the tail lights back to factory or at least to stock 96-98 tail lights.
