I want to move up on horses power can anyone give me suggestions where to start on a stock motor?

that really depends on your budget?? sky is the limit......full h/c/i with all supporting mods.........supercharger......turbocharger.....ec t.ect......

What are your goals with the car? Swapping in stepper gears in the rear end is usually the best "bang for the buck" mod. It'll feel like you added 100 HP.

My goal is about 300 horsepower and my budget is low due to my diassability

If this is still a stock Mustang, then my advice would be to swap in some steeper gears. It's the best bang for the buck mod you can do to a stock Mustang. Is this a 5-speed or auto ?
