Default Injector question

I have an 88 gt.. Mac shortie headers off-road x pipe.. I am doing a top end upgrade over the next couple months which I am going to run 24lb injectors on.. I wanted to go ahead and do the MAF conversion now which I get my choice of ore calibrated MAF meters.. My question is if I went ahead and got the meter calibrated for 24lb injectors and put the gt40 intake and larger throttle body on it now would it run ok with the 24lb injectors until my pocket book lets me come back and put the cam and heads?

Yes, as long as everything else is in good shape, example...... vacuum hoses and connections are good, no stored codes that may affect running problems, etc.

Your computer will adapt to the 24's fine.
