1985 vibrating relay
1985 gt convertible 5.0
over computer right side under glove compartment i have relay,,,,
5 wires
pink/blue
orange
yellow
green/black
green/black
relay vibrates
pull it out,,,everything seems to work
cant find schematic
what does relay go to ????????
do i need it ??????????
what energizes it ?
seems to be single pole double throw,,,,3 wires
just bought car

relay vibrates
it has carb
runs ok without the relay
thought it was ecc relay
wire colors wrong , dont seem to match chiltons diagrams
cant find schematics with those colors

Chiltons is not a manual. It is the cliff-notes of the factory service manual. The fact that the colors are wrong is not surprising. Get the factory service manual for your year/model ride for the proper wiring diagrams.
