Default cylinder #1 issue / smoking.

Hi... I have a 1990 gt with about 98k on it. About once every ten cold starts the car will smoke and run bad for about 10 minutes or so until it heats up. Yesterday this happened and I noticed the #1 cylinder was cold and fuel dripping out of the exhaust port / header at that cylinder. I checked the spark on it and it seemed fine, it's definitely getting fuel. I was thinking the injector is sticking once in a while filling the cylinder with fuel flooding it out, but I'm no expert. Wanted to get some opinions and suggestions from here......
Thank you for any input.

I suppose its possible, I've never had one stick open though. You can ohm out the injector to see if it's within spec. But I don't know if that will tell you if it's stuck open.

The weird thing to me is the other 9 "cold starts" it's fine ???

What color is the smoke from the tailpipes when it does this ?

And then once it warms up, all is fine ?

Yea no issues the other times. The smoke is a grayish color but reeks of unburnt fuel. This has been happening on and off now since last year. Happened yesterday the first time this year and I happened to have the hood open. I could see more smoke out of the passenger side exhaust. I could touch the #1 header after the car was running for 2 minutes. I shut the car off started it back up and within seconds the cylinder was getting hot and the car wasn't missing anymore.

Dirty or failing injector. Could have a piece of crud stuck in it keeping it from closing all the way.

Is there a good way to test/clean it out? I guess I could just move it to another cylinder and see if the issue moves with it.

put fuel pressure gauge on.....do Koeo and see if pressure drops....if it does , pull rail up and see if inj is leaking...koeo...pressure gauge should hold steady for a few min with minimal drop
