A custom cam will always be better than any "off the shelf" cam,....more power, ....better driveability, ...smoother idle, unless you want the lope, then he can design whatever sound you want at idle.

Now to be clear, I'm running a letter cam in my car and I'm very happy with it. No troubles and decent power. The PO must have known what he was doing. But I would like to get a custom cam next, as I've heard nothing but good things about them. Maybe a couple bucks more, but not a deal breaker.

I'll probably end up with a e303. Custom cams and such r just not in my interest. I have a fast car already.

which is why there are engine assemblers and engine builders who understand the importance of attention to detail........if all you want is sound.......put the e303 in.......the car won't be one ounce faster and in most cases loose power without supporting mods.......btdt.
