Forged internals??
Hypers, as I recall, are aluminum with a high silicon content. They fit tighter than forged, but where forged pistons may bend and stretch before they break, hypereutectic pistons shatter.
They are strong, and a lot of folks are putting that much or more boost on them. You just have to have a good tune. If you don't pay attention to octane, fuel pressure, timing, colder plugs, etc., you'll blow up forged pistons also. If they were total junk, keith black and others wouldn't put there name on them.
All out race car, that's a different story.

Hes right about the differences and about how to run each of them.</P>
If you are running or going to be running any power adders like a supercharger your best interest is to rebuild the motor anyways so while you have it out put what you want in.That way you know how reliable it is and that you can roast the tires off the rims without worrying about it blowing or not.</P>
