1991 5.0 ignition problems
So the car will start on cold starts. It does have some idle problems but I included pictures of the setup. The main thing is once you drive some where and shut it off, it wont start back up unless you unplug the fuel relay under the seat. When you do that it starts and dies. Then plug it back in and it starts up to where I can drive with the gas pedal 1/4 of the way down and all the way down. I did replace the starter a few weeks ago to a smaller more performance one off american muscle. New distributor cap and rotor. It does have msd ignition and all plugs on distributor are right just all one move. You do hear the starter and fuel pump working. Fuel psi is around 40. This is a mess describing it. Just trying to give all possible info. Any ideas?

sounds like it may have been running so rich it got the plugs soaked thats why it will start after unplugging relay. now you will have to find out why so rich, once fixed change plugs again .also the coil connection looks awful corroded it will eventually cause you a problem
