No fuel pressure I'm desperate

I just had a thought on the obd1 test port under the hood if you jump a connection it's supposed to check the fuel pump or relay or something but I know that the connection powers the fuel pump if I were to try that and the fuel pump didn't kick on would that work as a test point for the ECM?
If voltage is good, check the harness that runs to the tank. You could have a bad connection there, at the sending unit... or even inside the tank.

Ok I'll try that when I get home. When my ground wire shorted out could it have fries other stuff? I was just curious Cuz I took some parts in and had them tested and they said they were bad

Unplug the computer and then turn the key on. The fuel pump and the fan should immediately power on. If the pump dies not turn on, check for voltage at the cut off switch. From there, you'll know which direction to work to solve your problem.

So I've got the computer out and cycled the key a few times and still have no fuel pressure or anything so when I check the cut off switch I should have 12 v right? And I'm not sure but I don't think the fan came on either when I cycled the key as I have nobody to help me right now
If they dont, check your fuses.
