If I had a nickel for every Foxbody mustang out there that ran perfect with a check engine light on I would be richer than Trump. Ignore it, if its running perfect its probly just an emissions fault. Most likely smog related. Unless your in a state or county that does emissions inspections I wouldn't even worry about it.

As long as the car is not overheating, doesn't ping on acceleration and doesn't choke you to death on exhaust fumes I say let it eat.
