Well today I rotated the tires on my '93 Mustang GT, checked the front wheel bearings , cleaned & repacked with new grease.
While I had the wheels off, I checked everything that I could check on the front end.
While I had it jacked up I also checked the tire front to back, & top to bottom for any play.
All looks to be in very good condition, tight, no play.

Looking at the tires , how they are wearing on the inside of the tire is disgusting.
The front end alignment shop (see 1st post) said I need caster camber plates & seems set on selling me a set of caster camber plates.
This front end alignment shop has 1st class front end equipment and over the years has kept my 72 Ford Ranger XLT pickup, my '07 Mustang Gt aligned with good results.
He is an old NASCAR driver in the lower series racing.

When I look at the front tires (steering wheels set straight ahead) the front tires look like they are just towed out too much.

I don't like the looks of caster camber plates BUT may have to get them.

What caster camber plates are best ?
Steeda?
Please let me know .
Thanks .

Not sure who's "best", but Steeda is a good brand to go with. I have some of their other products on my car, but my CC plates are Eibachs. Never had a need or opportunity to compare them, really. All I know is, my local alignment shop was VERY pleased to see them on the car, and they've always been able to dial it in just right.

I had some steeda ones and took them off when I changed the front suspension. I went with some Maximum Motorsports ones and the quality is night and day. highly recommend the Maximum Motorsports ones.

Mr Boss, Mr Rambo, thanks for the replies / information.
I don't know which way to go .
I don't like the looks of the caster camber plates when looking at other mustangs that have them.
I was told by a friend that I did not need caster camber plates to take it to another alignment shop.

This is what I do know , my front tires are wearing out on the inside.
About 15,000 miles on BF Goodrich 255/50/16 tires.

BUT I guess I will have to get caster camber plates to get the front tires to stop wearing my tires out on the inside.
I appreciate any/ all information/ comments so keep it up.
Thanks
