I looked at my current setup, the CV boots are really close to the shock struts, from what I have gathered the 8.8 will cause the CV boots to rub the struts. Fabrication has to be done to move the struts out of the way.

Some extra info to post to help me along to my goal.

Feel free to chime in on the mustang numbers if they don't look right:

Quoted from another forum post:
"Shamelessly swiped from an old V8 Miata conversion I had for sale that was featured on BAT:

1991 Mustang gt weighs in at 3190lbs
1991 Miata weighs in at 2182lbs

Mustang engine in stock form puts out 225hp/300ft/lbs of torque
Miata engine in stock form puts out 116hp/100ft/lbs of torque
Adding the 5.0 engine, transmission, IRS rear end to the miata only adds 170lbs to the entire car

Further from the same poster "Dave" on BAT

On weight distribution:

New Vette: 53% front and 47% rear
New Camaro 52/48
New Mustang 54% – 46%
Stock Miata (2014) 52/48
Flying Miata V8 (with aluminum heads) 52.3F / 47.7R
Monster Miata (cast heads like this car) 53F / 47R"
