I changed the converter to something I thought would be a tighter harder launch. I'm beginning to think its a combination of a tall rear gear ratio on a AOD that just toms thorough a very narrow power band.
An Aod does not have a very good first gear ratio, coupled with 236 rwhp......don't expect snapping neck power........you need more ponies

A tighter converter is not gone to make it come out of the hole better. and more gear will lessen the convert stall even more. more power or get the converter restalled to make it get up into the power band better. Edge can make that thing hit the tire harder if you ask him it wont last for a long time once it hits but it can be done.
