94 GT losing power while driving. Got codes
Ok, here's the deal.
Last week I noticed my engine was surging on hard acceleration. (5.0)
It's basically a stock motor with aftermarket exhaust and a Bama 4-Bank Eliminator Chip w/ 3 Custom Tunes (94-98 GT).
Over the weekend it started randomly cutting out completely for a second or 2 making the ride very jerky. It only seems to do it at low to midrange throttle. First thing I did was turn off the Bama chip. There's a switch setting to use the stock ROM. That had no effect on the problem. I replaced the dizzy yesterday and although it did need a new one badly, that didn't solve my problem.
I pulled codes today and here's what I got.
KOEO 511 511 332 332
KOER 4 332 332
Cylinder Balance test 90 (passed)
So, according to the Haynes manual the 511 indicates read only memory fail. (replace pcm)
The 332 indicates a EGR problem which i expected as I have the EGR vacuum disconnected.
Questions: Can I trust the 511 code or is it possible that something else is making it seem like a ROM failure?
Is it possible that the Bama chip had something to do with all of this?
Any advice on what to do next? Replace pcm?
Anyone have a pcm for my car? (1994 5.0 with T5)

Not the PCM
I swapped out the PCM today with the old one I had for the AODE.
The problem was lessened but it is still there. I noticed that when it shows itself it does not affect the tach.
Ideas anyone?
I can't afford to throw money at it. I need a precision strike on this.
Question: Would a bad coil affect the tach or is it possible the coil is going bad?
Oh, another thing...I looked at the MAF sensor and it looks kinda like a match head with the sulfur worn off of one side. Other than that it's clean.
