Default Fuel Pressure Gauge

Hi Everyone,

I want to purchase an electrical fuel pressure gauge that hooks directly up to my fuel schrader valve. The problem is that My turbo only sits about 2 inches away from the schrader valve. Since Turbo get so hot I wouldn't really feel safe hooking a sensor up that close to the turbo. Couldn't I just plug my electric sensor into my fuel pressure regulator and remove the mechanical gauge that is on top of the fuel pressure regulator? What do you guys think?

Most sending units have a 1/8" NPT fitting on them. As long as you have that fitting where the gauge was you can put the sending unit there and run your gauge off that.
