Transmission won't engage after reinstalling it
Hey guys what's up I'm new to this and don't know to start my own post, I need advice I have a 1988 gt, I bought already fixed up, but body is not in great shape had it for a while now, now I just bought a 91 gt perfect body and interior plus a/c and but blown motor, so I said I would take out my motor and tranny fr my 88 and put it in my 91, in doing so I said why not I minus well replace leaking rear main seal so had to take tranny off, this was my first time messing with manual transmission, by the way it's a tremmec , I installed everything back together and put it in the 91, car started right up but transmission won't engage in any gear and grinds reverse now the transmission was working just fine I drove the car right before pulling it, I winded up putting a adjustable cable after reading threw some post but didn't work, can some one give me advice or help me it's driving me nuts maybe I did something wrong

It sounds like your clutch isn't adjusted properly. Verify that first, even if you have to grab a flashlight and mirror. Verify your clutch is disengaging when someone pushes the clutch in. They don't move much, but you should see it.
And reverse gear grind is pretty normal. It is not synced with the forward gears, so what most people do is hit 5th gear first, then right into reverse from there. No grind that way....
