looking to buy this mustang they selling it as a 1979 5.0, but the body doesnt look like and 79 its more like and 1982 what you guys think?

I'm just thinking out loud here, but what does the title say ? And do the vin #'s match ?

You never know what's REALLY been done to a car before you buy it, body panels swapped, motor/tranny's/rearend swapped, etc,etc. But a title with a matching vin is the most important.

simple solution......no need for a thread on something that should be an obvious answer to your question = look at 10th digit of the vin = year designation = common knowledge
