Hey all Im looking into buying a 93 Triple White Mustang Convert. My question is, what should I look for on these convert? Should I take it to a car wash to see if it leaks? Any advise would be great.

Well just bought 92 LX 5.0 want to know, what type of top it is..... Fabric, vinyl or a mix? Any tips on cleaning it.

I've never had a vert but aren't the tops made from a tougher grade of vinyl ? Just going off of something I read long ago.

I really don't know....

My 90 had a black top that was like heavy canvas. Best cleaning was mild soap and water. I tried to make it look clean with various products but they only streaked down the paint. You can get after market tops in different materials.

Yes they are canvas. The way I always cleaned it was just the car wash wand. Allow it to dry before folding the top back down. Just be careful, especially if you have holes.
