Default H.O. vs non-H.O.

this may sound like a stupid question, but, in the '89-'93's, both LX and GT's, were there ever any NON-H.O. engines, or were all of 'em H.O. ?? i showed a guy at school my car cuz he wants a 5.0, and i popped the hood, and he was like, "oh, i hate you. its an H.O.".......i thought all the mass-air cars were H.0.'s ??? or were some of 'em not.........thanks

My '86 Capri has the 5.0 speed density. Fun and easy to work on. High output lives up to the name, 5.0 H.O.

Very fast for auto with 175k on the original engine.,
