What cars came with GT40 heads????
I went to the junkyard looking for explorers to get me a set of gt40 heads today and all i could find was v6s.
I was just wondering if you guys could help me out and tell me what else they came on other than the explorers.

Well you need to find the 95-97/98 im not sure what year explorer with the 5.0 in em. One of the years has gt40p heads on it but do a search theres been lots of threads about this.

Well the expolder's brother the mercury moutanieer came with the same motor of that era,and the 93 cobra's but you will never find one of them in the scrap yard..

you need special headers to fit the gt-40 p heads.
heads make a big difference.
even just opening the ports on the stockers to match the gaskets makes a difference.
more flow=more power.
