Hurry! go get your card fix for a couple of bucks. Keep your mouth shut about it. And go make $500.00 real quick. Then you can go buy a new carb.

If your car can really pull a 13.4 you should be able to beat him now, but I would get some other stuff just to make sure.

a S/C 3.8 gen III in a body runs mid 14s stock. you should be able to get that with no problem. if you cant sell your car buy a yugo.

with that 2Gs in your pocket get FI again and have less problems with the car.

Also... people who are willing to throw away 500 bucks on a race must also not be stock. Watch out also if its not. Those supercharged 3.8s can be really really fast.

S/C 3.8 gen III arent that fast even modiflied. they have tranny problems which keep them limited to 13s or very high 12s.

Have you ever seen that video of that Modded Twin Turbo LT1 camaro? He races a grand prix and that thing kept up for dayz. They arent to be taken lightly. Its not in the same car anymore either, so that could be either good or bad.</P>

92 baretta weighs a bit less (I'm guessing) than a new grand prix. Plus a pulley and a chip and they're quite a bit faster. I'm thinking a new carb (TUNED), set of heads, and 1.6 or 1.7 roller rockers
hell, carcraft did it - 1.7 roller rockers, ARF 165 heads, intake manifold (don't remember which one) and a ~600 carb (holley?) and put out around 325 at the crank.
That should get you pretty quick, and under $2000
