what kind of pump gas would be best for my 93 lx. regular, mid- grade or premium. thanks

93 the only way to go with a mustang if you look in owners manual it will tell you what to run your car on notlike you have it but alwaysrun 93 for best MPG and driveablity. Than you could advance your timming and not worry about detonation<IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0">

so where do i get some 93, all the stations around where i live offer 87 89 91...maybe that shop where my dad gets his alcohol has some 93 octane...

it has to do with the timing and combustion. 87 for all stock stangs. u dont just put in premium in a stock stang..... it doesnt mean its better</P>

anything above 91 is good. i run 94 octane in mine. but if icant find that i run 93.

you should run the octane that the manual says to run if the fuel/heads/ignition is stock. higher octane fuel burns slower but more complete than lower, but if your car isnt set up for higher octane it is useless and will hurt performance/mpg. if you are running a differant than stock octane make sure you readjust your timing for it.
