Default stall converter

I need a new torque converter for my aod. I just finished the rebuild and shift kit installation. It's a daily driver but I like to race it too. I was thinking on increasing the stall a little as to get that better performance but don't want it acting strange on the highway when it goes into overdrive. Anyone have any thoughts?

Default stall converter

well i went by the book on this one. i installed a 3000 holeshot one by B&M. i got my stall info from the offical ford mustang 5.0 performance handbook.they gave me the info on how the stock on is a 12" tight stall and they recomend a loose 10" stall. with around 2800-3200 range.

what is nice with this one is it may be alittle large now but in the future it will be in handly and you wont have to step up ot a looser one. make sure you get THE LARGEST TRANNY COOLER POSSIBLE. and get a deep tranny pan. well worht the insurance of cooling the trans. oh yea if you dont have gears youll be wasting your time with a loose stall
