depends on where you get it.
you'll need a tranny, rear axle, crossmember?, as well as exhaust, eec (unless you're going carb, which would be way easier and cheaper)
there's more too.

It all depends on what you're getting for the 1300 and if you can find a 5.0 EFI donor car.
carb - $300 (average)
intake manifold - 200
fuel pump - ?
fuel pressure regulator - ?
fuel tank - ?
engine - 1300
tranny - couple hundred (used) to $2kish for a t56 (pimp)
rear axle - couple hundred (used) to $2500+ for a 9" pimp axle
or efi - same as above less carb/intake but plus injectors, MAF, throttle body, intake, manifold EEC, wiring harness, etc.
Which is why it's easier to get a wrecked 5.0 and swap the parts you'll need

well an auto would get you pretty much everything you need except the tranny/clutch/etc. And if you're planning on modifying the 5.0 for more power you'll want to seriously consider getting a stronger tranny (tremec tko, t56, etc). Same goes for the clutch
If you do get one, pull the EEC out of the passenger's kick panel before buying it and see which one it is. I've got an A9M and it seems to be fine, but I think most of the tweecer guys have A9L's
I'm not 100% sure what the difference is though
