I unplugged the TP sensor and still ran like crap. I reset my computer also. Now my idle is pretty low and its loping along with the missing. Ive noticed the missing mostly around 2000rpm, does something happen around 2000rpm that might be failing? But again it does happen around the whole rpm range now, but mostly in the lower and 2000 rpm range. Sorry I keep reposting, i just am trying to keep it updated for better ideas. I wish a check engine light would come on.

I finally found the problem, it was the magnetic pickup in the distributor. It was all lose and not giving right reads. Although I do still have a slight problem, does anyone know what would cause this, i will be sitting at a red light and my rpms will drop from 700 to about 4-500 and then the car will run not normal, a little sluggish and it does this until i turn the car off and then when i turn it back on it will be ok until the car sits awhile and the same thing. Any ideas?, (im just glad my big problem is fixed)

Im actually running injector cleaner right now. Does anyone think this could be the IAC valve or the EGR valve ? Ive cleaned the IAC valve before, but I heard sometimes you just need to replace it. I am also working on deleting the EGR valve altogether, im just waiting on a plate. So does anyone think I should get a new IAC valve or does that not seem reasonable?

Yes it is set at .98volts. I cleaned my IAC again today, i may just buy a new one but I dont want to spend 60bux if thats not the problem.

I'd almost to be willing to be it's the IAC. If you end up replacing it, I'd recommend forking over the extra cash for a Motorcraft piece. It will probably run you closer to $90-$100. I wouldn't skimp on electrical parts that affect day to day drivability.

I just got around to changing the IAC valve, and the same thing happens. For the hell of it I deleted the EGR Valve and I just bought a new MSD coil, and none of these helped either. Now basically the whole ignition system is new, new disty, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and coil. The fuel pressure seems normal, its at about 35psi with the vacuum ON the FPR. Any other ideas?
