Default 95 GT chugs and no power HELP!!

Ok everybody i have a problem and its starting to make me mad. I have a 95 GT with a five speed and it doesn't want to go. When you get on it, weither its a lot or just a little bit it doesn't want to go. It gradually builds up speed but isn't fast by anymeans. I've drove other 5.0's and they are way faster than mine and theirs are stock. We had a guy hook it up to a computer and he said it was the mass air sensor and throttle pos. sensor (TPS). I got a new mass air and the TPS and nothing has changed. It sometimes will take no power, like you give it gas and it doesn't want to go at all then you have to restart it I've been told that it takes time for the computer to read the change in the mass air and TPS but how long. I was also told it was a clogged cat (got off road X) and that it was the timing (got that adjusted). I've heard of other people with the 94-95 stang having same problem so i know its not just me. PLEASE HELP-thanks

I don't know if this is the problem but on my old 88 GT i had a very similar problem where it would very gradually build up speed but under any kind of acceleration it would crap out on me had full power till about 1/8 throttle then anything past that wouldn't go. turned out to be the fuel pump sock had a hole in it and the pump itself had gotten clogged with dirt. cleaned pump & replaced sock and everything was great. also i replaced a ton of stuff before i finally figured out what was wrong by trial and error, TPS, IAC Valve, Coil, Plugs, Wires, Cap & Rotor, EGR Valve & electronic vacuum solenoids on the pass. side strut tower. Hope this helps ya.

did you change the fuel filter?
is your airfilter clean?
when did you last do a tuneup? new plugs/wires/distributor cap/rotor
is your fuel pump loud?

I seem to have a very similar problem with mine. My pump is loud, but I dident think It could be that. I have changed/checked tps Plugs, Wires, Cap & Rotor. Mabey it could be fuel pump.

my 94 cobra was doing the same thing.. but in my case it was a bad set of cats... i threw in a bbk O/R x-pipe and it got all better... but check your timing, tps, and if you already swapped your maf.. unplug your battery and let the car sit for a day... then plug it back in. afterwards start the car and just let it idle... the car will re-learn its maps and such

as far as a fuel pump goes... its not that hard.... just make sure your tank is empty...

You might want to run some cleaning chemicals through your car. i just used seafoam and it did help when I put it through the brake booster line. My revs are much smoother. Try that and go back to the guy with the scanner and tell him that wasnt it and that you feel you wasted your money so maybe he will do it again.
