I know it is usually best to start with engine then Power adder, but my question is more towards which will give me the most power for the money.

Thats hard to say but I would say the supercharger. I forget how much power it made but they put a procharger on a stock 5.0 and made like over 300 rear wheel horsepower... so ya it would be about the same but when you have heads,cam,stronger motor etc you will really feel the superchargers potential
