my 1989 4 banger automatic driveshaft wouldn't bolt up to my t-5 out of a 1992 5 speed. is it because of auto/manual tranny's? we just fired it up for the first time about an hour ago. we have wires hanging everywhere and it is partly rigged up electrically but sounds like all is in order. now we just have to run everything properly. my friend did the fuel pump wiring (temperary rig) and i'm really not sure how he wired it, but she 's alive. i think he just ran power to the relay under the seat. we will button it up saturday.</P>
B303, fomoco roller timing chain, cold air intake, shorty headers, h-pipe, flowmasters, hurst shifter, ford hd clutch, underdrive pullies....well pully. i took the alt and waterpump underdrives off so i guess it's 1/2 underdrive.</P><edited><editID>1992 schp</editID><editDate>38015.8558796296</editDate></edited>

my buddy that is helping me has built a ton of mustangs, but has never messed with any 4 banger / V-8 swaps. he's built tons of nos cars and a 351 with an s-trim...anyway we have a million hours in my car. lol. we have ran into a lot of unexpected time killers. mostly wiring probs. we are putting 1992 5 speed 5.0 guts into a 1989 4 banger automatic. guess what.... no plug ad play, only troubleshooting. also driveshaft didn't fit</P>
