was just told by the person who was gonna help me build the engine that the blocks they had on DSS Racing was purely for racing, and was almost bored as much as it can go. And he said that it will also heat up easier and thats never good.

I'm looking to build a 400-500 HP Street car, I will bring it to the strip of course but, thats NOT all its for. Going to be Daily Driven. So I'll need reliable parts as well. Don't want to have to tear down my engine every now and then.

can you be a tiny bit more specific tho?

like, i went to Demon's web site and they had like Demon Racing ;Demon King ; etc...

and im sure trick flow has more then 1 intake, not trying to be an *** just need to know specifics for makin my car beefy

the trick flow intakes wont work cause they are for EFI cars. so i would go with an edelbrock air gap intake. and the demon should be a road demon.

and about the stroker, a stroker engine has a longer stroke (distance between Top Dead Center (TDC) and Bottom Dead Center (BDC)) than a stock block, thus giving it more Cubic Inch Displacement (CID) and MORE POWER!!!

heh so i want a stroker then?

is it a Specific Engine block?

So i'd be looking for a 351 Windsor Stroker Engine Block?

And what about buying Dyno Matched stuff?

Like going alledelbrock partsor something. If I were to do that what would be best? Was looking at them and they had idle to 5500; 1500-6500 and it just went up from there. I was thinking Idle to 5500 would be best right? for Takeoff and accelleration n junk. Don't really need top end speed. Egh, I don't know... Who's got the best Dyno Matched parts for my goal of 500 hp on a 351w?

Btw I want it to be street legal of course, and its going to be Daily Driven so keep that in mind.

Ok, does trick flow do "Dyno Matching" ? The edelbrock thing was just an example. Also, if I were to do one of these power packages, which should i go for? I'm going to be a daily driver, but I also want good 1/4 mile times as well....

If its a daily driver you might want to keep the fuel injection. Much better as far as drivability.Performance is about the same, but its more expensive in general. But once you have it running good you don't have to worry about tuning. You could go with a stroker based on the 302 or convert the 351 to FI. Just thought I'd throw that outthere as a consideration.
