Default tire question...

are 265/50/r15's too much for the stock wheels on a 89notch? b/c that is what I got on mine and every tire dealer i go to says that is a real ***'d up size tire..

it is different a fairly tall tire a 245/50/15 has the same ht. as the stock ones... they will be too big for the front

the height is 27.43
width is 10.43

stock is height is 26.177

you be a good 1"1/4 larger

now if you have a 91-93 you can go a lil bigger as the wheel opening is a lil bigger...

i have heard 255s front 275s rears are the max you can go on foxes without modification. anyone agree with the statement??

well i dont think you will pe putting 275s on the back with no modification...im not sure what you have to do other than lose the quad shocks and roll the lips of the quarters.my cars got a torque arm and panhard bar and 275s are very tight in the back
