1990 Rear end has too much giv
I have a 1990 GT and im having problems with the rear end a little. I thought it was originally the lug nuts that were loose but it turned out thats not what it was. It has too much play in the rear end, i took the rear tire off and it still had some play in it.
I think it also needs some oil. I am planning on putting some oil into it today posibly. But the main problemn is after driving the car and if it gets a bit herky jerky after that when i turn corners it has kinda of a chattering sound in the rear end?? when driving straight it seems to be fine, it only does it in the corners, the car has 220,000 KM on it.
Any suggestions or comments? how much play should a rear end have for 1990??
