OMG i just got done arguing this in the 4.6 section about 4 days ago or so. No you wont win. I wooped a fox body by about three cars lengths four times in a row all from a dig. I raced a srt-4 from a dig and he beat me by about 4 cars I would say and it was completely stock, nothing done at all not even and CAI. It's my friends so I know what he has. Your going to need at least gears tb, mas, new control arms, roller rockers and someother stuff to keep up with them. They are pretty damn fast for a four banger and yes I know they are turbo charged but we got 4 more cylinders too.

your talking to me as though im an incompitent kid. i prob know those cars better than you since ive been surrounded in them for several years. i was trying to make it short and concise.

if you would like me to explain it in detail for you.

he first put on an adjustible internal waste gate and 3inch short ram intake along with an hks super sequenchal blow off valve.

he recently replaced the td04 (*stock turbo) with a 60trim (not sure on specifics) with a 4in inlet, tial external waste gate, DTEH tuning system, 3in turbo back exaust, 255 walbo fuel pump, injectors, fuel return, short through shifter.


plus realize that i am from colorado which happens to be a mile about sea level, all fairly stock 5.0's were running 15's thus i am not a horrific driver that u claim i am.

Quik has a problem doing that dont take it wrong. And a stcok fox doesnt just run 13's You had weight taken out, gears and someother stuff, thats not stock. Stock ENGINE yes, but stock CAR no. Fox's dont run 13's stock.

it comes down to who is driving what car!!!!!!!!!

and yes you can win but if you cant drive you will lose. like stated they are 14s cars and foxes are known to hit 13s stock and deep 13s with nothing more then K&N,muffers,no cats and gears. stock motor stangs are easy to hit deep 13s and can hit high 12s

The dirver wont matter for **** the srt-4 can take a fox by at least 5 cars, Therefore the srt-4 can shift like he's on vacation and still have a good advantage.

no weight reduction, actually had heavier GT seats in it!! and yes a fox does hit 13s stock. its been done over and over again. remember a striped down notch is the lightest and also quickest from factory. car was all stock except K&N, OR H pipe,flows and 355 besides that all stock. those little mods arent helping you that much.

it takes very aggressive driving to push a stang to low 13s.
ive seen bone stock 86 stangs go high 13s.

remember it also depends on what location of the usa you are at. so many things play a roll into ET. temp/elevation and etc

i would agree with crazyfast

the srt is gonna smoke him. no questions asked. unless the srt driver is a complete moron and misses more than one gear.

my friends stock srt keeps up within one car of an 03 cobra

Ok sorry i thought you before you had said it was stripped. Still though 3.55 gears from 2.73, and then the exhaust. Didnt you also do something to your suspension to get the weight transfer?
