make shure you use plenty of ***. lube LLLLL assembely lube on all the bearing, after the crank is torqed you shuold if not alresdy doen assembel the pistons, next the rod bearings shuold be put into the rods use plenty of ***. lube properly torqe them also, of course you need to place the pistons in the block do not scare the crank with the rod bolts. do not forget the oil pumpand pick up. buy any ford car manual for this info........

first you mic the crank..then make sure you have the right size bearing..make sure the block is very, very clean..install 1/2 on the bear...put a lil syth oil on your finger the run it on the bearing..do this for all of them then, install the crank, with out rotating the shaft put some of the GREEN plastic gauge on each jurnal then install the other half on the bear, use no oil on them put ALL the main caps on and them torque them in sequance DO NOT TORQUE DO FINAL AMT ON THE FIRST TIGHTEN SEQ. once torque to the right torque spec..then proced to untorque and pull off the caps take your plastic gauge and measure for cleance...if all is good pull out crank and clean then reinstall using moly or syth. oil beore putting on cap have a small oil can with syth oil and squit a small amt onto the crank lube hole this will cut out any wear when turnning the crank while checking the rods in the same manner. with crank installed check for end play of the crank and the radius. make sure you have your oil pump cleanced by the machine shop..
