Default 3.55s or 3.73s

I do a fair amount of highway driving, but would performance difference in terms of 1/4 mile times be much different between 3.55 and 3.75?

Why the 3.73s on my 5 speed and not the 3.55s?

for better exceleration 3.73 are the lowest any stang should have, ive had 3.55, 3.73, and 4.10s i like the 4.10s the best but my car is a toy, not very economic, but 3.73 would be better and still have some bottom end.

I just got a set of 373's for my 87 lx 5.0, haven't got them in yet but, I can't wait to see the difference they make. I don't mean to bring the bowtie guys into this but, my buddy put a set of 355's in his 96 f body and it made a hell of a difference in his low end power and his stock gears were something like 340somethings? can't remember but, it should be easy to tell a difference going from a set of 308's! I can't wait!

It does mean something, thanks. But I also know a great guy who knows his stuff, and I think I'll probably put them in myself, or ask him to help. Either way, I'll probably get the 3.73s. Thanks boys.
