you can buy used heads for under 1000...use guys might want to trying buying some used parts.. can't wear out t/b,maf;s mass air,intakes,heads..the heads came be redone for about 100.00

milky....on the avg. car the upper dollar intake don't make since because you never get to use all the potentail the intake has to offer..ex. I use a gt-40 on my s/c bought used for 200 I put about 20 hours into porting it and it out flows a track heat..just a thought
some times you can find really nice ported heads for 800-900 buck saving you 100's to buy another mod..I know all too well on being on a budget as my s/c car I have about 5700 in it total including the car.

I had my cobra intake ported out and matching my gt-40s which were also ported out, matching, and it flowed great. Ya the parts are good in itself but the porting helped a ton. When i get my heads, (and my new car haha) im gonna port em again. I understand what ya mean vfast, thanks.

arent heads and intakes like blocks in that they can warp over time?? cause then you want to check out the stuff if you are buying used. and if you are buyingused you also want to make sure that the valve springs arent worn out andthe rest of the components are in good shape. ifyou have the money, i would buy new. it insures the quality andyou dont have to deal with workin with the f*ckers whoscrew you over on places such as ebay.
