Wow, this thread is perfect, I was actually just about to make a post about my encounter today. After getting my car tuned today, 347 Kenne Bell 18psi, made 670rwhp 685rwtq(on a aggressive and 110 octane(i filled my tank at the dyno for some odd reason they had it for sale, and cheap!)). -on with my story- Well when I was driving home today after my tune, I was sitting at red light. To my right is a 1st gen eclispe, normally they just roll by trying not to make eye contact. He actually rolled his window down and asked for a run to the light!? Ofcourse I took him up on it considering I was still in the "giggy" stage of getting my car freshly tuned. Green light, we took off. We both just left off the idle and I just pulled away from him. At the next light, he asked for another shot. This time he was going to launch, i could hear the turbo. So I decided to launch the car lightly and see what happens. Launching at 2,500rpms(i have a trans break for my c4), it was a race. I pulled about 1/2 a car on him just off the line and kept it to the light! We pulled over at the next 7-11 and talked about our rides. He had a fully built DSM making 650awhp!!! I had never seen DSM and 650 in the same sentence unless mentioning how many stickers were on it. Good day tho! New numbers and a fun ride home!
