Do you want to make a lot of power? Or would this engine be fine? If you want a lot of power, you're better off building something yourself (or having it built). I don't buy this crap about getting dirty and doing it yourself. I do what I can myself, but stuff that requires special tools or precise measurement/clearances I outsource to more qualified people.

back to the engine though - if you're thinking forced induction/n2o, make sure it's got forged internals. If you want a fair bit more power than stock, but want to go all motor, consider high compression and/or stroker stuff. This is all stuff you should figure out before buying anything.

unless you going to run like 10 psi or moreof boostor over a 150 shot a motor would be better off with HYP. pistons, a 302 block can not stand the power to justify a forged crank, forged rods are a good idea but again with a stock blockthey can not be justified. getting DIRTY and doing a little reshearch can save you an exstreme amount of money. <edited><editID>619socalstang</editID><editDate>38030.8015625</editDate></edited>
