Default MAF sensor!!! what ones better!!

On my car now I have a C&L80mm mass air meter and from what I have found out they are not the greatest MAF sensors. I have 42# ford racing injectors and I also know that they are a little bit for my motor but tunning should take care of that, But what is the most accurate MAF. From what I have herd the C&L is kind of tricking my computer on it reading or am I wrong? Are some MAF sensors reading with more of a electronical setup ? Pro-M I herd is good.

Default RE: MAF sensor!!! what ones better!!

I have a PMAS that I love, but my setup is a bit different. C&L is about the worst you can get, from a tuner's stand point. I'd look for aything else.

If you don't have a tune, then yes the meter is just tricking the computer into supplying the correct amount of fuel. Not really ideal and you'll probably want to fix that.

What's your mod list, out of curiousity? I'd assume it was in your sig, but then i thought maybe this was a different car (different MAFs listed)

Wasn't sure if that was the same car. You were talking about an 80mm MAF but the sig listed a 90mm. So I just wanted to make sure it was the same car

C&L's are okay, as long as you don't want to try to tune the car. Then tey become a pain in the ass and can be rather inccurate. Have you thought about getting a Lightning MAF? You can get a nice 90mm Ford Lightning MAF for about $85 new.

Huh? Did I miss something here? Why the hostility towards Fastblack all of a sudden? He didn't say / do anything.
