ok, i have mercury insurance and they said they would drop me faster than piece of s*** if i put a s/c on. what the heck does everyone with s/c do??

ok ok ok, i could just not tell them i put a s/c on. if i did that and i got in a accedent they said that the s/c would void the insurance and they would not pay a dime for the car. - via mercury and gieco.

HOW ARE YOU INSURED WITH A S/C???

i dont have a s/c on....yet. and i already said that if i was in an accedent and they dicovered that i had one they would then proceed to void my insurance.

if you call gieco and tell them that you have headers on your car (if you have insurance by them) they will drop/ cancel your insurance on the spot.... go and try it. that would suck to total your car and have them say that they are not paying sh**!

Yea ive never heard of such a thing.. You could always justsay you thougt it was the alternater.. A really big one. lol.

thats why when mine is complete im getting it appraised and having specialy insurance put on it

My insurance just asked me what I wanted to declare the value of the car for, and insured it for that much.

My insurance company has never looked under the hood of any car Ive ever owned.
I dont think they have a right to not cover your car because of a part you installed.
I can understand them not covering the supercharger if it was wrecked in an accident but they would still have to cover the car.

mine says as long as you keep your receipts to know how much the parts cost.
