Hatch Shocks and decent stylish rims.
Sounds like these foxes are more trouble than they're worth.

Only problems I've ever had were the bouncy needle under 25mph, halfway broken ashtray door (I can still make it work!), and the fog lamp problem that was easy to fix.

lets SEE!
my ash tray cover is broke, My t-tops DO NOT LEAK however the window seal is shot...so if it rains and I take a turn I get soaked :-)
ashtray cover broke
my old maplight clip was broke so the thing would keep falling down....and I would push it back up...and it would fall down...how annoying...I bought a new one and realized that there is 0 voltage at the wires behind the maplight...wonderful
my vanity mirror lights don't work ( which is prob explained by the 0 volts at the map light)
bouncy speedo
tach is WAY off lol
my gas gauge is always Full....until under a 1/4 tank
I don't think 4volts on my battery meter is correct :-)
my idle goes up...then down...then up...then down....(almost to a stalling point)
I have cobra wheels so if I'm in reverse and I turn to far...my skirts will rub..
OH! someone snatched my Foglights....yep those are gone
my dash backlights are totally shot..you can't read a damn thing at night (unless you squint real hard)
squeaks, noises, and it doesn't take bumps very well
and I can't figure out why my defrosters don't work for **** ( I think it's because I need a new A/C compressor, any suggestions)
but I still love my stang ...I'll get it to work properly with several hours of playing around with it :-)

RE: most common problems with foxes?
someone posted on the first page in this thread about ignition modual recalls. have they really had any ignition modual recalls? most problems i have had were caused by things like neglect other than the motor mounts[which were a problem in most of fords cars those years], and the fuel pump relay shorting out the fuel pump, but i think the relay got wet, and shorted. the outter tie rods broke though after only like 48k miles. power window switches were crappy too which again were common in most ford models of the time. i don't smoke, so i haven't really had to open the ashtray much.
