Default gt40p question

Hey guys, new to the forum but not really new to mustangs, but I've never done a build with gt40 heads. I was wondering what kind of power is to be had with these heads ported with crane 1.6 roller rockers and upgraded valve springs etc. With a stock cam or possible e303 (i was told the car had an e cam but haven't verified due to crap idle with speed density, converted to mass air but idle is still messed up) just looking for a low buck build and was told this was the way to go plus a little giggle juice. Inputs greatly appreciated

You can't expect much of a gain when using stock parts.

I figured that out a long time ago, I just wanted something that wasn't gonna destroy my pocket but at the same time beef it up a little, trust me I've spent plenty on heads cam combos I just want a low buck build

you can gain some decent power with Gt40's. If you are handy with some burrs, try porting them yourself. guys hit 300+ with a good port job. it is a lot of work but hey, winter is coming, a few hours every weekend is no biggie. i have this link bookmarked. maybe it will help you, it explained a lot to me. i'm gonna be doing a ported gt40 setup over the winter.
