Default Fiberglass Fenders.

Hello, my 90 coupe is rusted bad on the front fenders soI thought why not upgrade to fiberglass ones. Does anyone know where I could order these from and what the cost would be? Also how much weight would I lose from this?

Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm quite positive they make fiberglass fox body fenders, I have seen it before but don't know where to get them.

H.O. Fibertrends use to carry the stock fiberglass fenders but they no longer carry them since they only weight 5-6 lbs less than the stock fenders 5-6 lbs per fender and they were having problems with there moulds. http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=578018#6

If you’re looking for flared fenders http://www.maierracing.com/

For a full front clip http://www.usbody.com/Pages_Cars/79-Mustang.htm

Prices range from $500 for a pair of fenders to $1300 for a full front clip.

There is very little weight difference.. the stock fenders are light as hell when you have them off.. Infact if you just took off the inner fender and replaced with fresh stock outer fenders you would probably hit the same weight for a lot less cash..
