I paid $2700 for mine last August with 97k. It had a few mods done (intake, cai, tb, headers and a few other bolt ons). It ran pretty good at the time.
The body was a little rough and it needed new fenders (rusty), a new hood (hail dents), patches in both 1/4's (rusty) and alot of dents and dings repaired. That was all fixed this year.
I went a little crazy this year and did alot of stuff to it- heads, cam, 5 lug swap and more- check out the website in my signature for a full list and pics.
Now the car still doesnt run right (mostly due to mods) and its a big money pit. With all the money I dumped into it this year I probably couldve bought a newer Mustang in better shape.

I bought my 68 for $3100 in May of 1983. It was originally a 289/ 4spd car. I dont really know how much I have in it, between the price of the car, engine swap and mods, and restoration in 2005, my guess would be 18ish or so. It was mint until Iput it in storage in 94...when I got it back out the paint was peeling and the interior was dry rotted...I really regret that.Its the only car I held on to. I bought it with 27,000 and it has 51,000 now. I bought the LX in August of this year for $2900 with 91,000 and I havent really done too much to it yet.

$500 bucks 4 months ago. 89 LX hatch,160K miles, runs great, no smoke, ac works great, electric windows work good, cruise still works, the only thing that doesn't work on the whole car is the vanity light on the visor (guy said it kept draining the battery so he disconnected it). Interrior is immaculate, motor is absolutely bone stock down to the air cleaner. Hatchback has some rust around the window, lower drivers door has minor rust, but guy includedan excellent spare hatchback and door, I've yet to replace them.Car was a daily driver until I bought it from the original owner. I wish I could show the photo album with every receipt since the car was new. I spent about 2 hours reading it when I got home. According to receipts, the AOD was rebuilt at 90K, rear axle had to be rebuilt at94K (?), every oil change is documented, as is evey wiper replacement. It's rediculous what this guy took the car to the shop for!. Car has been driven 6500 miles since 2004 according to the oil change receipts. Sounds like a story but I do have the documentation to prove it.

$2500 for mine, just over a year ago. stock except for an alarm. ran great, only thing i had to do to get it up to snuff for daily driving was replace the fan clutch. interior was kinda messed up, and it's gonna need a paint job soon, but i had fun with it for six months. and then a cam lobe rounded off. finally got it running again recently but it's still got issues.

600 $ for my four cylender & 91 GT mutt the guy had to pay a lawer and couldnt tell me much about the car except he just didnt know why it would die right after you started it. i kept my mouth shut bought it and put a new fuel pump in that day! then i drove it every day for three months till i blew out stock auto trans. my right hand and my clutch foot were verry bored in an auto car so i went on to convert it to 5 speed. pretty easy although dropping steering collum sucked. i went through two free four cylender tans before i got my rebuilt t5 i am happy with it although i know as my hp and tourque go up i will want the tremec. well ive had the car for four years now its my fifth fox body and has held up just as well if not better than my first 89 purchased for 5,000$ rip off. my second 88 t top 3,200 $ siesed by milford pd. my third 92 gt hatch 3,500$ demolished by comacozee white tail. and my fourth a 90 lx 2,000$ sold for 3,700$ as i get older i get wiser you couldnt have convinced me at 18 that 5grand was way too much for a stock 89GT with a pretty paint job and a long list of things going wrong with it. now i keep my eyes open for deals and let time and experience work to my advantage. oh yea and my six hundred dollar car would blow the doors off that old 89!

I paid $3000 for mine with the engine puffin blue smoke 5 yrs ago.Came with another engine.Rebuilt it and swapped it out as soon as i could.Its was in the same shape as it is in my sig.
