Wow... That's all I really have to say
Not really: if this was a joke...I chuckled a bit
If not a joke. Perhaps working on cars is something you should maybehold offon for just a bit. First thing I would do is what other people have said: Take it to a shop and tell them you bought it like that (seized up) and want them to take a look at it to see if it's salvageable. If not, I guess it's engine/car hunting time. If so, then get it fixed. The Cobras are somewhat limited-edition and it would be a shame to see one go to waste.
If you are deadset on learning at least the basics of working on a car. Get a Haynes or Chilton manual (a Ford Service manual would probably be more than you need, plus they are pretty expensive) and read it good. If you have a little extra cash, maybe think of getting a beater carso that you have the opporunity to work on it more often and if you mess up, at least you wouldn't be messing up a Cobra.
Lol that's great! Those old 300 cid 6-cyl engines are amazingly bulletproof. I take care of mine better than your friend [8D]and it's knocking on the 300,000 mile door.

...a buddy of mine was givin an old Ranger F-100 with a straight 6. he was pissed that he didn't get a v8 so he thought he'd show his dad by blowing the motor in hope that he could swap it. he drained the oil, let it run (it actually ran for a bit i guess) and when it siezed he put the oil bakc in so his dad wasn't the wiser. he told his dad that it locked up and doesn't kno whats wrong with it. his dad walked out, cranked it over and it started right up [>:] [&:] its still runnin to this day like 3 or 4 years later with no problems...
