not quite the same thing, thats when a liquid is inside the cylinders not the crankcase

Sure there is. Pull the engine out, and rebuild it.

EDIT:
What you did was run water through the engine. An engine is all metal to metal contact inside, motor oil is specifically designed to keep the bearings inside the engine lubricated. When you pour water inside, the engine siezed because it was not lubricated at all, which caused the cylindersto lock upas well as thecrank/cam. The only way to fix it would be to rebuild the engine with all new parts. Water is not a proper lubricant for an engine!!!

BTW: Who said it would be okay to run water through the engine as long as it was only idleing????
